Jesse Leeuwendal

Jesse is a Director within the Project Finance Renewables Europe Origination and Execution team of Rabobank, one of the leading banks in Project Finance globally. The energy transition is one of the core pillars of Rabobank’s ambition and the bank has been project financing renewable energy assets for over 20 years with a current global commitment of c. EUR 5bln distributed over 20 countries.

Jesse is responsible for originating, structuring, negotiating and executing of renewable power transactions (offshore wind, solar PV, onshore wind, BESS) across Europe and has experience with a wide variety of structures including complex portfolios, ECA financings and structures on the basis of corporate and/or baseload PPAs, subsidy schemes and merchant revenues. Recently, Jesse was involved in the execution and structuring of several large-scale solar PV and onshore wind projects in inter alia Ireland, Italy, Sweden, UK and the Netherlands. Before joining Rabobank, Jesse worked as a Director in the Structured Finance Energy Origination team of Nord/LB in London. Jesse holds a Master in Financial Engineering and Management from the University of Twente and is a CFA® charterholder.
