Lee joined Greencoat Capital in 2014 and oversees Greencoat Solar and has 19 years’ experience in project finance and investment. Greencoat Solar is now one of the leading solar platforms in Europe with invested in circa. 1GW of assets across over 120 sites.
He joined Greencoat Capital from Zouk Capital where he spent six years focusing on solar PV. He played a key role in constructing Zouk's successful solar portfolio, and was involved in all stages of the cycle from origination and execution to management and exit.
Prior to Zouk, Lee was at Climate Change Capital in the carbon finance team. He joined Climate Change Capital from Investec where he had spent six years both investing in and advising on a range of debt and equity deals across the broader energy and social infrastructure space.
Lee holds a BA in Chinese and Management Studies from Durham University.
