Vincenzo has more than 23 years of experience in asset finance and leasing. Since 2019, he has lead the Technology Finance team of Societe Generale Equipment Finance (SGEF), a subsidiary of French Banking Group Societe Generale. Vincenzo is developing the Solar Finance capabilities of SGEF in the UK, collaborating with Solar PV installers and trade organisations to establish asset finance and leasing as a credible alternative to PPAs for rooftop Solar PV infrastructures to support the journey to electrification of SMEs and corporate customers.
Prior to join SGEF, Vincenzo has served in several national and international sales, sales management and business development positions in asset finance and leasing companies in France, Italy and the UK. Vincenzo holds a degree in Economics and Banking form the University of Siena in Italy and a Postgraduate Certificate in Management Studies from London Metropolitan University.
Rooftop portfolios have become more attractive to institutional investors but there is a long way to go before it reaches its true potential.
