Sebastian Vondrus

Sebastian Vondrus is a Principal at Renewable Power Capital, a renewable energy investment platform backed by CPP Investments, a global investor with over €390 billion in assets under management. To-date Renewable Power Capital has deployed €1.7 billion in support of the European energy transition across onshore wind, solar and storage.

Sebastian leads the sourcing, structuring, and execution of renewable power investments at RPC. Sebastian has more than a decade of renewable energy deal experience, and a track record of investments worth over €5bn across offshore wind, onshore wind, solar, and merchant transmission. Sebastian has lead transactions across multiple geographies including the United States, Europe, and Latin America. He currently serves on the board of EnerVista, a renewable energy development platform based in Poland.

Prior to joining RPC, Sebastian was a Director at Algonquin Power & Utilities Corporation in London and spent several years at Orsted working on M&A transactions globally across offshore and onshore renewables. He started his career in project finance at BNP Paribas. Sebastian is a Canadian national and holds a Master of Arts degree in International Relations from the University of Edinburgh.
