Lars Hedström

Lars Hedström is a pioneer in Sweden’s solar energy sector, with over 20 years of dedicated experience in renewable energy. Under his leadership, Solkompaniet has executed over 1,200 solar projects, including Sweden’s first solar park in 2009, and established itself as a key player in the Nordic market. As one of the main large-scale solar experts in Sweden, Lars has been instrumental in driving the adoption of solar energy solutions nationwide and is a recurring speaker at conferences and roundtable discussions.

Currently, Lars serves as the Business Unit Director for Solkompaniet Development, focusing on developing high-quality solar projects that deliver optimal returns for customers and investors. Working with long-term, reputable capital, the Business Unit seeks to facilitate the complexity of Nordic solar development for financial investors.

Holding a Ph.D. in Energy Systems from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Lars combines technical expertise with strategic vision.
