Kai Rintala

Kai has been the Managing Director of Taaleri Energia since 2016 and has over 20 years of experience in the infrastructure industry.

Taaleri Energia is a Helsinki-headquartered renewables fund manager with 1.2 billion AUM and a team or 50+ professionals. The company invests in onshore wind, photovoltaic solar and battery storage having a 9.3 GW portfolio in Europe and the US. He has previously worked 10+ years at KPMG, both in Helsinki and in London, advising public and private sector clients on infrastructure strategy and transactions across energy, transport and social infrastructure.

Kai holds a PhD in Construction Economics from UCL and an MSc in Engineering and Industrial Management from the Tampere University of Technology.
