Alessandra De Zottis

Alessandra is Head of Government and Regulatory Affairs at Sonnedix, where she established and led the global regulatory department from its inception in 2021.

She sets and drives the company’s regulatory strategy and oversees the energy policies and commercial regulations of ten jurisdictions globally (Europe, Americas, and Asia), advising Senior Leadership and the Board on key legislation and geopolitical developments that affect the electricity markets and the energy policy landscape.

She has over a decade of expertise in the energy sector gained in the UK, where she led on regulatory changes to promote effective integration and deployment of flexible energy sources in the system and, prior to that, in Brussels, where she worked closely with European Institutions in a public affairs function. Alessandra has a Master’s degree in Law and an MSc in Energy and Environmental Technology and Economics from City, University of London.
