Antonio Salvati

Antonio joined NextEnergy Capital in December 2014 and is now Managing Director of both NextEnergy III and NextPower V.
Among the first team members of NextEnergy II, as Vice President, he set up the valuation process and worked on multiple M&A transactions in the PV market in Italy.

He joined NextEnergy III (formerly known as NextPower III) in 2019, and since then has led the investment activities across all jurisdictions where the fund has invested, going on to become Managing Director of both NextEnergy III and NextPower V. Antonio was also appointed as Head of the Global Analyst Pool and led the team for two years.

Prior to NEC, he was part of the Financial Institutions Group team of KPMG in Milan, where he worked both in Audit and Corporate Finance practices. Previously he had internship experiences with an advisory firm focused on project finance for renewables.

Antonio graduated in Administration, Finance & Control from Bocconi University in Milan, with elective exams in corporate finance and holds a BSc in Financial Markets & Institutions from Tor Vergata University of Rome with elective exams in quantitative finance.
