Ben Fawcett

Ben Fawcett has more than 20 years’ experience in the UK & European energy industry in a range of commercial, investment, strategic and analytical roles. He worked for EDF Renewables for 8 years, heading up its successful entry into the UK Solar market. He has also worked for EDF Energy, TXU Europe and TXU Nordic.

Ben was invited to join the government’s Solar Taskforce established in May 2023, responsible for setting out a roadmap on how to meet the solar deployment ambition of 70 gigawatts by 2035.

He has a degree from the University of York in Economics & Politics and an MBA from the Kellogg-WHU Executive MBA Program.
