
Bob Psaradellis
Bob is the CEO of Island Green Power (IGP), a leading developer of utility-scale solar projects and
battery storage systems. IGP has successfully completed c.4GW of projects globally and has
developed an attractive pipeline of 16.6GW of grid secured solar (6.1GW) and battery (10.5GW)
projects across the UK. 100%-owned by Macquarie Asset Management since May 2025, IGP is
transitioning to become an independent power producer (IPP) and is the largest developer of colocated solar and battery NSIPs (nationally significant infrastructure projects) in the UK.
Prior to IGP, Bob founded and was CEO of Renewable Power Capital (RPC), backed by €1.5bn of
capital commitments from CPP Investments’ sustainable energy investment strategy. He established
a leading presence in the Nordics with 845MW of onshore wind in operation or construction and
created a 6GW solar, wind, and battery storage pipeline across five countries in just over two years,
establishing RPC as one of the foremost renewable energy producers in Europe.
Bob was formerly GE Energy Financial Services’ Head of Europe and has successfully closed equity
investments in energy assets with over €5 billion in enterprise value. In addition, Bob created and
led Global Capital Advisory at GE, raising over $14 billion in equity and debt for GE’s projects
globally. Prior to GE, Bob was with Mitsubishi Corporation, investing in environment and water
projects in the Americas.
Bob holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Engineering Sciences from Harvard University, where
he was also a member of the 1997 Ivy League Championship (American) football team and the
winner of Harvard Football’s Henry N. Lamar Award for “dedication, leadership, and concern for his
fellow man.”
