Deniz Ertan

Deniz joined GoldenPeaks Capital, an IPP focused on renewables in Central and Eastern Europe, in 2023. At GoldenPeaks, she’s responsible for origination, structuring and execution of construction, acquisition and portfolio-level financings for solar PV and battery storage assets. To date she raised over €500+ million from senior banks, private credit funds and major asset managers.

Before joining GoldenPeaks Capital, Deniz spent six years in the Project Finance team at MUFG in New York and Los Angeles, where she originated and executed over 40 transactions across energy, infrastructure and natural resources across the Americas. Her experience at MUFG spanned across both lending and financial advisory.

Deniz graduated from the University of Pennsylvania’s Huntsman Program in International Studies and Business, earning a BS in Economics from the Wharton School and a BA in International Studies. She is fluent in Turkish, English and French.
