Elizabeth Baxter

Elizabeth Baxter brings nearly 20 years of experience in the energy sector and leads Apatura’s capital raising and financial strategy as Director of Capital Markets. She oversees investment planning and funding partnerships that support Apatura’s growth across energy storage and infrastructure.

Before joining Apatura, Elizabeth was Director of Finance at Vårgrønn, where she was responsible for Green Volt, Europe’s first commercial-scale floating offshore wind project. She has also served as Director of Project Finance at Sonnedix, a global renewable energy independent power producer backed by J.P. Morgan Asset Management. Earlier in her career, Elizabeth spent over a decade as a lender to the energy sector at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and began her career at Lehman Brothers in New York. Passionate about driving progress on climate change through inclusive leadership, she has also served as a Non-Executive Director of POWERful Women since 2020.
