James Adams

James is a Partner at Alexa Capital with two decades of investment banking and infrastructure investment experience across EMEA and Asia, including roles at Lehman and Man Group. He has advised on M&A, capital markets, buyouts, asset transactions, and strategic and regulatory matters, working on landmark cross-border utility-sector transactions. At Man Group, he was a member of the investment committee for the firm’s alternative energy funds.

James works across the energy transition value chain and has led European transactions representing large multinationals, growth companies, and private investors. He also serves on the board of Ashden, the London-based not-for-profit sustainable energy and development organisation. James holds a BA in Philosophy from the University of London.
