Joost Bergsma

Joost is a founding partner and CEO of Glennmont Partners. He is a member of the Investment Committee and the Asset Management Committee. Joost is involved in originating new deals and also in the negotiations of some of the funds’ key investment and exit transactions. He is a board member of a number of portfolio companies, including the Gode Wind Offshore Wind Investment in Fund III. Joost is responsible for overseeing and implementing Glennmont’s strategy development alongside the other partners and works closely with Glennmont’s clients.

He has more than 16 years’ experience in energy and power utilities transactions across the value chain, in Europe and emerging markets. Prior to joining Glennmont, Joost held a series of senior positions in asset management and investment banking at BNP Paribas, ABN AMRO and SG Warburg & Co.
