Kevni Iljazovski Speaker at Finance Europe

Kevni Iljazovski

General Counsel St. Jørgen

General Counsel at St. Jørgen Holding, an emerging renewable IPP company in Denmark. St. Jørgen Holding is renowned for its pioneering large-scale projects, including one of Europe’s largest renewable energy parks with a capacity exceeding 600 MW.

Kevni has driven some of Europe’s most impactful projects at my previous role in European Energy before joining St. Jørgen Holding. Over my career, he has been directly involved in negotiating PPAs totaling several gigawatts of renewable energy capacity across Europe, the Baltics, Australia and North America. In addition to PPAs, he has overseen the acquisition and development of large-scale renewable projects, including wind farms, solar parks, and hybrid solutions. These projects span diverse markets, including Lithuania, where he led the development of wind parks totaling over 185 MW.

Notable highlights include:

  • Baltic Landmark PPA: Signing one of the largest PPAs in the region, a 3.8 TWh agreement between European Energy and Eesti Energia.
  • Australian 1,100MW PPA: Signing a 1,100MW PPA in the country with Rio Tinto.
  • Global Tech Partnerships: Leading long-term PPA negotiations with tech giants such as Google Inc. and Microsoft for significant renewable energy projects.
  • Strategic Portfolio Expansion: Facilitating the acquisition and financing of millions of hectares in Europe, Australia and North America for the development of several small to large scale projects (wind, PV, BESS and Power-to-X).
  • Trailblazing Italian Solar Projects: Overseeing the acquisition and development of major solar projects in Italy, including the largest PV project in the country (Troia, 123 MW) in the Puglia region making European Energy the biggest renewable energy developer in Italy at the time.

At St. Jørgen, he is responsible not only for ensuring legal compliance and resolving challenges but also for strategically addressing regulatory and operational complexities. This involves engaging with grid reforms, storage solutions, and navigating regulatory frameworks in multiple jurisdictions to support the development and execution of our projects.
