Meggie Eloy

Through her work at the Climate Bonds Initiative (CBI), Meggie has assisted in delivering over USD 270bn Use of Proceeds debt instruments that are consistent with the goal of limiting global warming to at or below 1.5°C future. Working across a variety of sectors from Renewable Energy, Low Carbon Buildings, Low Carbon Transport and more recently, Transition of the hard-to-abate sectors such as Steel, Cement, Hydrogen and Basic Chemicals, Meggie is an expert in reviewing assurance reports and frameworks for projects in these sectors. In 2023, the Certification team at CBI, expanded their scope of practice to include Entity and Sustainability linked-bond (SLB) and Sustainability linked-loan (SLL) certifications. This is a world first in the green finance space which continues to demonstrate the highest standards of climate integrity and credibility to the market whilst increasing visibility to investors.

Meggie holds an MSc from the University of Surrey in Corporate Environmental Management and is completing the CFA in Climate and Investing.
