Peter Schümers

Peter Schümers, Partner, has more than 16 years of experience as an investment banker and investor in utilities and infrastructure, focusing on the renewable energy sector since the industry’s early days. He has led a number of successful transactions for Energy Infrastructure Partners (EIP), including the acquisition of a stake in Repsol Renovables, the renewable energy arm of the Spanish oil & gas major Repsol.

Prior to joining EIP, Peter was a principal at an international investment banking firm in London where he was based for 10 years and advised clients on numerous M&A transactions within the infrastructure sector including renewable energy, conventional power generation, regulated networks, oil & gas related infrastructure and integrated utilities.
