Philipp Matter is the President of GCL SI Europe and North America, a Tier 1 solar company focused on delivering high-efficiency, sustainable solar solutions. He is on a mission to successfully expand the company’s presence across Europe, driving innovation in solar technology for commercial and residential markets.

With over 19 years of experience in the solar energy industry, Philipp is known for his strategic thinking, operational expertise, and passion for environmental responsibility. Prior to GCL SI, Philipp held senior roles at JA Solar and BMI Group where he gained a strong track record in scaling renewable energy solutions.

Philipp holds a Masters degree in Industrial Engineering from Technichal University Vienna and is a frequent speaker on renewable energy trends and the future of solar technology in Europe.
