Ramona Volciuc-Ionescu

Ramona Volciuc-Ionescu heads the energy and M&A practices of Volciuc-Ionescu, a leading Romanian transactional law firm. She has over 20 years’ experience working in the energy sector, advising utilities, developers, investors, financial institutions, sponsors, equipment manufacturers, EPC contractors, off-takers in relation to complex energy issues and projects. Her work has been recognized by major legal directories such as Chambers, Legal500 and IFLR for many years.

Ramona holds an LL.M in International Finance from Queen Mary Law School, London, and an MBA degree with a focus on the energy industry from Warwick Business School, UK.

Prior to founding Volciuc-Ionescu, Ramona headed the energy team of an international law firm in Bucharest and worked for a leading Austrian law firm in Bucharest and Vienna.
