Suresh Bhaskar

Suresh Bhaskar is an energy professional with more than 25 years of experience of developing and managing several infrastructure assets including renewables, thermal generation, water desalination and District cooling for ENGIE in the markets across Asia , Middle East , Africa and currently in UK & Ireland. His core skills are in Strategy, Business development, M&A, Asset management focusing on P&L delivery, platform growth and value optimisations.

Suresh Bhaskar joined Engie Group in 2005 after almost 10 years of experience in the energy sector in India and he has performed various senior management roles for Engie including Head of Strategy Middle East and North Africa , Chief Business Development officer Middle East South & Central Asia and Turkey, Managing Director Renewables Middle East, Egypt & India . Suresh has led several successful transactions in the Middle East / Asia region and a key member of the team which developed approximately 30 GW of power assets for ENGIE in this region. In his current role as Managing Director -Renewables UK &Ireland, he is responsible for managing and growing onshore renewables for Engie in UK and Republic of Ireland, where Engie has set ambitious growth targets in next 5 years .
