Tom Blackwood

Tom is an Investment Manager at Octopus Energy Generation and joined the company in January 2024. Tom works primarily on Octopus’ investments into developers of utility-scale renewable energy projects in Europe, with a focus on solar, onshore wind, and BESS. Tom divides his time between origination, transaction execution, and managing portfolio companies. Tom is based in London.

Tom has over eight years of professional investment experience across renewable energy, real estate, and infrastructure. Prior to joining Octopus Energy Generation, Tom worked for six years in the investment team at Foresight Group LLP.
