Giovanni Terranova is a founder and is one of the three managing partners. He is an energy finance specialist having worked in banking, advisory and private equity since 2000, with a particular focus on energy and renewables since 2005. Giovanni has participated in the funding of over £6.4 billion of energy transactions globally. He has been involved in over £1.3 billion of UK and European solar energy transactions at, and prior to founding, Bluefield. Giovanni’s previous responsibilities include investment director at Foresight Group, taking a leading role in the project financing of the solar energy portfolio for the Foresight European Solar Fund. Giovanni previously worked in the Energy Group at Fortis Bank where he focussed on renewable energies and was instrumental in establishing the Bank’s competence centre in solar energy. Giovanni has as MBA from Luiss School of Management, Rome, and an MSc in Power Engineering.
