Marco Biersinger

Marco Biersinger is the Deputy Head of Corporate Finance at DTEK Group, Ukraine’s largest private energy company. Marco is based in London and shares responsibility for DTEK Group’s financing needs across the capital structure. DTEK’s businesses include thermal and renewable power generation, power distribution grids and electricity retail, oil and gas, and commodity trading.

He has more than 10 years of experience in energy and infrastructure transactions, having previously advised medium and large corporations on financing, mergers and acquisitions and strategic topics in developing markets spanning from Latin America to CEE, North Africa, and Southeast Asia.
Prior to joining DTEK, Marco was a Director in Duff & Phelps’ oil and gas team.
He holds a B.Sc. in business administration from the University of Mannheim and is a member of the Association of International Energy Negotiators.
